How do I create an account?

Check your spam or promotions folder first. Signing in with your email and password sends you a new link. If it still does not arrive, write to support [at] trendgap.io.

Can I use TrendGap from my own AI tools?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on Pro and Studio. Connect TrendGap to an AI tool that supports MCP and ask about TrendGap's data from there. You approve each app, and you can disconnect it any time under Connected apps in Settings.

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

In Settings, under Profile, choose Delete account. Permanently deletes your account, saved ideas, claims and subscription. Any active plan ends immediately, without a refund for the unused time. This cannot be undone.

What does the Free plan include?

The Free plan costs $0 and needs no card. It includes today's free opportunity, a preview of the library and 3 quick AI idea checks a month.

Is there a free trial?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on monthly plans: 4 days free, once per customer. A card is needed to start it, and the plan is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Yearly plans have no free trial. You can also pay right away: a plan's button buys it now, and the “Try … free for 4 days” link under it starts the trial.

What's the difference between Basic and Pro?

Both open every niche in every track. Pro gives you more of each monthly allowance, and the comparison table above lists every difference.

Can I switch plans or billing cycles?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Switch between Basic and Pro, or between monthly and yearly billing, anytime on this page, without emailing us. The new plan is charged at the prices shown on this page. An upgrade starts right away and the prorated difference is charged when you confirm it; during a free trial, an upgrade ends the trial and the new plan is charged right away. A downgrade, or a move from yearly to monthly billing, starts at the end of your billing period, and nothing is charged for it until then.

How do I cancel?

From Settings, under Billing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. There is no pause: cancel, or change to another plan, instead.

Will you remind me before a yearly renewal?

Yes. We email you about 30 days before each yearly renewal, with the date and the price. You can cancel from Settings > Billing or the billing portal at any time before then.

Do you offer refunds?

Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record. Refunds follow Polar's refund policy and applicable law; see our Terms of Service. When a payment is refunded, the credits that payment granted are taken back; for a credit pack, the refunded share of its unused credits. A full refund of your current plan payment also ends that subscription; refunding only an upgrade charge keeps it.

Where do I find my invoices?

Our payment partner, Polar, handles billing, tax and invoices. Your invoices are listed in Settings, under Billing, where you can download each one. Prices are in US dollars without tax; sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies.

What happens if a payment fails?

You get a grace period of 7 days to update your card under Manage billing, and your access continues in that time. The grace period applies once in any 12 months. Your credits are paused until the payment goes through.

Do you offer team or agency plans?

Not as a self-serve plan yet: each plan is for one account. Write to support [at] trendgap.io and we will work out pricing with you.

What is a credit?

Credits pay for the tools that do paid work for you, such as fetching keyword data or writing an AI report. Each tool shows its price before you run it, and a run sets its price aside before it starts.

How many credits do I get?

Free starts with 30 welcome credits to use within 30 days, then gets 10 a month. Basic gets 500 a month. Pro gets 1,250 a month. Studio gets 2,000 a month.

Do unused credits carry over?

Accepted Answer

On yearly plans, yes: unused credits carry forward to the next month, up to 2 times the monthly amount. Cancelling or moving to a smaller plan ends the carry-forward. On Free and monthly plans, unused credits do not carry over.

What if a run fails?

You keep only the credits that cover what a data provider or the AI already billed for that run, never more than its price. The rest goes back to your balance, and the tool tells you how many were kept.

Can I get more credits?

Moving up to a bigger plan adds credits right away for the part of the period that is left. On yearly plans, unused credits also carry forward from month to month. Members on a paid plan can also buy a credit pack in Settings, under Credits. Pack credits stay valid for 12 months and are used after your plan's credits.

Why is there a daily limit?

So one busy day cannot use up a whole month by accident. Paid plans can spend up to 25% of their monthly credits in one day, counted in UTC. Free has no daily limit.

What happens to my credits if a payment fails?

Yes. Ideas you test stay in your private vault. They never feed the shared library and no other member can see them. You can delete one, or all of them, at any time.

Do you use my searches for anyone else?

No. Keywords you type and what you enter in a tool stay with your account. They never become part of the shared library, and they are erased when you delete your account.

Yes. Use Request removal on the report, or write to support [at] trendgap.io. A person on the team reviews every request.

We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising, and we use no advertising cookies. You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, and object to how we use it. A number from 0 to 100 that sums up how promising an opportunity looks. Every report shows what pushed it up or down. When there is not enough evidence yet, the score shows as pending instead of a guess.

Yes. The free idea evaluator gives a first opinion on an idea of your own. Inside TrendGap, every plan includes quick AI checks each month, and a full report uses 15 of your credits. Your ideas stay private.
