Found a gap worth building? "Build this with AI" turns an opportunity report into a prompt you can hand to an AI coding tool, an app builder or a chat assistant. The prompt is put together from the report's own content with fixed templates, so no new AI writing happens when you export.
Where to find it
Open a report from Opportunities and click "Build this with AI" at the top of the report. The button shows on the reports your plan opens. On the free plan, that means today's free niche and the reports in your free preview.
Step by step
- On the report, click "Build this with AI".
- Under "1. Pick what to build", choose a tab: "Product builder", "Coding agent" or "Planning chat".
- Under "2. Review the prompt", read the text in "Your prompt (editable)". Change anything you like, or click "Reset to the generated prompt" to go back to the original.
- Under "3. Click a builder to open it there", click the tile of the tool you use. That click is the export.
- In your tool, read the prompt and press Send yourself. TrendGap never presses Send for you.
The three templates
- "Product builder": a whole-app spec for builders that generate the full app. It covers who the product is for, the problem in users' words, what to build first (ranked by the complaints each feature answers), the existing products and their weak spots, pricing and risks.
- "Coding agent": tasks in order, each with a line that says when it is done, a suggested stack (the set of tools to build with) and working rules. It is for an AI coding agent that works in your own code project.
- "Planning chat": a brief to think the idea through with an assistant before you build. It adds the validation steps and first-customer ideas from the report, and asks the assistant to challenge the research.
If you click a tile without picking a tab, that tool's usual template is used, and the tabs switch to show it.
What the tiles do
The tiles show AI coding tools, app builders and chat assistants. Each tile has a short line that says what its click does:
- "Opens with your prompt": the tool opens in a new tab with the prompt already filled in.
- "Copies, then opens": the prompt is copied to your clipboard and the tool's site opens, so you paste it there.
- "Copies the prompt": the prompt is copied for a tool you open yourself.
- "Opens the app, copies too": a desktop app opens with the prompt, and it is copied as well in case the app does not open.
- "Too long for a link: copies, then opens": the prompt is copied in full and the tool opens with a short note to paste it.
To fit in a tool's link, the prompt may keep fewer complaint quotes, and a note in the dialog says how many were kept. Some tiles are partner links, and the dialog says which ones. If your browser blocks the new tab, nothing is sent to the tool and the dialog gives you a link to open it. You can also click "Copy prompt" at any time to copy the text yourself.
Exports on your plan
Each click on a tile counts as one export in the current period. Free includes a small number of exports, for the niches Free opens only. Paid plans include more, and each higher plan includes more again. The current numbers are on Pricing. The dialog shows how many exports you have left and when they reset.
- Exporting the same niche again within a set number of days is free. When that applies, the dialog shows the date it is free until.
- Copying the prompt with "Copy prompt" does not use an export, so you can still copy it by hand when your exports are used.
