TrendGap has a free plan and paid plans. This page explains what each one opens and how billing works. The current prices, and every number for every plan, are on the Pricing page, so you always see them up to date.
Free
Free lets you see the quality of the evidence before you pay. Every day you get today's free niche in full, plus a preview of part of the library. The other niches show as locked cards. Free also comes with a small amount of credits and some monthly allowances. The free plan explains it in detail.
Paid plans
Every paid plan opens every niche in every track: full reports, evidence and scores. The plans differ in how much you can do each month, not in which ideas you can read.
- Basic opens the whole library. It adds monthly credits, bigger allowances and the evidence CSV (a spreadsheet file of a report's evidence).
- Pro and above give you bigger allowances, every evidence quote on a report, and extras such as CSV and JSON export of the library views you build.
The table "What each plan includes" on the Pricing page compares the plans row by row, with the current numbers. A row only appears there for a feature that is live, so the table is the place to check before you choose.
Monthly or yearly
Use the "Monthly" and "Yearly" switch above the plan cards. A monthly plan is billed each month. A yearly plan is billed once a year and costs less than paying for twelve months one at a time.
- Credits: both get their credits at the start of each billing month. On a yearly plan, unused credits carry forward from month to month, up to a limit shown on How credits work. On a monthly plan, unused credits don't carry over.
- Free trial: when a free trial is offered, it is for monthly plans only.
- Switching: on the same plan, a move from monthly to yearly starts right away. A move from yearly to monthly starts at your next renewal.
- Reminders: on a yearly plan you may get a reminder by email and in your Inbox before the renewal, with its date and price.
One price list for everyone
There is one price list for everyone, shown in US dollars, and every new plan is sold at those prices. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies. If you have a discount code, you can enter it on the plan checkout page.
Your subscription may be billed at a different price than the Pricing page shows, for example a price from before the current list. Then your plan's card on the Pricing page says "You pay … on this plan." Changing your plan or billing cycle moves you to the current prices.
Choose a plan
- Open Pricing.
- Pick "Monthly" or "Yearly".
- Compare the plan cards, or scroll down to "What each plan includes".
- Click the plan's button. When you're signed in it says "Start with" and the plan name. When you're not, it says "Sign up for" and the plan name: create your account, and the plan's checkout opens once you're signed in.
- Pay on Polar's checkout page. Polar is our merchant of record: it processes the payment and issues your invoices.
- You come back to Settings, on the "Plan and billing" tab, where your new plan shows.
See your plan
Click "Plan and credits" in the menu, or "Plan and billing" in your account menu (your initials in the top bar). The "Plan and billing" tab in Settings shows your plan, its billing cycle, and the date it renews or ends. If the TrendGap team set up your plan for you, it says so there.
