AI visibility tools

See whether AI assistants mention your brand, whether AI crawlers can read your site, and how Google shows your brand.

The "AI visibility" group of the Tools hub shows how AI assistants see your brand and your site, and what to fix. The robots.txt checker is free. The llms.txt generator is free unless you ask for AI summaries. Every run follows the usual rules.

Do AI assistants mention you?

The "AI visibility checker" asks AI assistants a set of questions (prompts) about your category. It shows how often each one names your brand next to your competitors, and the sources they cite.

  1. Fill in "Brand", "Website" and "Category" (for example, invoicing for freelancers).
  2. Add rivals with "Add a competitor".
  3. If you like, pick a "Linked niche (optional)". Some prompts are then written from that niche's keywords and complaint themes.
  4. Under "Check", choose "Lite" or "Full". The full check (paid plans) asks more and adds mentions data. It runs in the background.
  5. Click "Run lite check · … credits" or "Run full check · … credits".

Answers that don't come back are not charged.

Check your AI visibility every week

On Pro and above, run a check and then click "Monitor weekly". Each Monday the brand's prompts are asked again. This is part of your plan and uses no credits. Your monitored brands are listed under "Weekly AI visibility monitoring" on the tool's page. To stop, click the bin icon ("Stop monitoring this brand").

One score for AI readiness

"Brand visibility & AI readiness" gives your site one score from 0 to 100. It looks at:

  • AI crawler access: whether AI crawlers may read your site.
  • llms.txt: a short file that tells AI tools what your site is about.
  • Structured data: code that tells search engines what a page is about.
  • Server-rendered content: text that is in the page itself, not added later by scripts.
  • Core Web Vitals: Google's measures of page speed and stability.
  • Authority: how strong the site's links are.
  • AI mentions, in the full check only.

Each part shows its evidence, and you get a list of fixes. A part the tool could not measure is left out of the score, never counted as zero.

  1. Type "Your site (home page or any page)" and, if you like, the "Brand name (optional)".
  2. Under "Check", pick "Lite" or "Full". The full check (paid plans) needs the brand name and runs in the background.
  3. Click "Run · … credits".

Can AI crawlers read your site?

robots.txt is a file on your site that tells crawlers (the bots that read websites) what they may visit. The "robots.txt AI crawler checker" is free on every plan. Type your "Website" and click "Check · free".

  • It shows, crawler by crawler, which AI crawlers your robots.txt lets in or keeps out.
  • It sorts them into three kinds: crawlers that train AI models, crawlers for AI search, and fetches made when someone asks an assistant about a page.
  • It gives you the lines to change.
  • Blocking training crawlers doesn't affect search or AI answers. Blocking AI search crawlers means AI answers can't cite you.

Write an llms.txt file

llms.txt is a short file on your site that tells AI tools what the site is about and where its main pages are. The "llms.txt generator" reads your sitemap, or your home page's links, and follows your robots.txt. It writes an llms.txt file that follows the format's spec.

  • Type the "Website, or the section to cover" and click "Generate · free".
  • Want AI summaries? Switch on "Write a short AI summary of the site and its main pages". That option costs credits.
  • Without it, each page is described by its own meta description (the short summary written into the page), free.

How Google presents your brand

The "Google entity check" runs one Google search for your "Brand name". It shows the knowledge panel, the info box Google may show beside the results. It also shows the profiles Google lists and who holds the top 10 results for your name. Add "Your site (optional)" to check the results against your site.
