Browse the library of opportunities

Find ideas in Opportunities: read the cards, filter and sort the list, switch to a table, and see what opens a locked card.

The library is where TrendGap keeps every idea it found in complaints and reviews. In the menu it is called "Opportunities", under "Discover". Each idea is a niche: a problem people keep complaining about, with the numbers TrendGap measured for it.

What a card shows

Each card is one niche. From top to bottom you see:

  • The track and the ecosystem, so you know what kind of product it is about.
  • The title and a one-line summary of the gap.
  • The Gap Score from 0 to 100 and, once enough weekly history exists, its change this week. "Score pending" means there is not enough data to score it yet.
  • The evidence label: "Strong", "Moderate", "Thin" or "Evidence pending", based on the complaints of the last 90 days.
  • Measured pills, such as "Complaints in 90 days", monthly searches and the average rating of the apps people use today. A pill shows only when TrendGap has measured that value.
  • When the newest complaint arrived, or the day the idea was first spotted.

Some cards also carry a badge: "Heating", "Steady", "Cooling" or "Still hot". It compares this week's complaints with the weeks before, and it appears only once enough weekly measurements exist.

Peek or open the full report

Click "Peek" on a card to read a short summary without leaving the list: "The problem", "Signals" and "Build". On a wide screen it opens beside the cards; on a smaller screen it slides in as a panel. When an idea looks promising, click "Open full report" or the card's title. Read an opportunity report explains the report page.

Search, filter and sort

  • Type in "Search titles and ecosystems" to match words in the titles and ecosystems. The list updates when you stop typing.
  • The quick chips "Gap Score 60+", "Strong evidence" and "New this week" turn a common filter on or off with one click.
  • Click "More filters" for the rest: ecosystem, Gap Score, pain, how well the existing apps are rated, evidence strength, where the complaints came from, the store country and when the idea was first spotted. More filters appear once TrendGap has measured the values behind them, such as search demand and the size of the existing apps.
  • Use "Sort by" to order the list by "Gap Score", "Newest" or "Most evidence". "Heating up", "Search demand" and "Demand growth" join the list once enough data exists. "Fit for you" sorts by how well each niche fits your own profile, when that option shows.
  • "Clear filters" starts again. The track, the sort and the view stay as they were.

Your filters live in the page address, so you can bookmark a view, or save it and get notes about new matches. See Search and saved searches.

Cards or table

Switch between "Cards" and "Table" at the top of the list. The table puts the same facts in columns, such as "Niche", "Track", "Complaints 90d", "Evidence" and "First spotted", which is handy when you scan many ideas. Use "Previous" and "Next" under the list to move between pages.

Locked cards and what opens them

On the Free plan most cards are locked. A locked card shows only its track, its ecosystem and, when it has one, its "Heating", "Steady" or "Cooling" badge, with "Member report" and a "Get Basic" button that opens the Pricing page. TrendGap never sends the hidden details to your browser.

Free opens two kinds of cards in full: "Today's free pick", a new one each day, and a small set marked "Free preview". On Free, most filters match only the niches you can open. Every paid plan opens every niche in the library: the plans differ in allowances, credits and some tools, not in which ideas you can read. The free plan has the details.
