Rate, flag or re-run a report section

Vote on a report section, flag it as wrong, or on Pro and above ask AI for a better version of it.

Write to support at trendgap.io and a person on the team will answer.

Most sections of an opportunity report end with a small feedback row. You can say whether a section helped, or flag it as wrong. On Pro and above, you can also ask AI for a fresh version of a section. You see the row on paid plans, on niches your plan opens, when the report is marked "Report v2".

Vote on a section

Next to "Was this useful?", click the thumbs up ("Useful") or the thumbs down ("Not useful"). Click the same thumb again to take your vote back.

Flag a section as wrong

  1. Click "This is wrong".
  2. Pick a reason: "It is inaccurate", "The evidence does not support it", "It is out of date", "It does not fit this niche" or "Something else".
  3. Add a note if you like. Only TrendGap's reviewers see it.
  4. Click "Send flag".

Your flag goes to the review queue. The team checks the section against its evidence, then fixes it or leaves it as it is. Meanwhile the row shows "Flagged for review", and "Withdraw" takes your flag back. Once a flag has been handled, the button says "Flag again".

Re-run a section

On Pro and above, sections marked "AI" have a "Re-run this section" button. A re-run rewrites the section from the stored complaints and the measured data. A separate AI review then compares it with the current version. The new one replaces it only if it is better.

  1. Click "Re-run this section". The button shows the price: an included re-run, or a price in credits once your included re-runs for the period are used.
  2. Read the dialog, then click "Re-run (included)", or the "Re-run for" button that shows the credit price.
  3. If the section is replaced, you see "The section was rewritten and the report is updated."

While you have included re-runs, the button shows how many are left this period. Credits are explained in Credits and credit packs.

Rules to know

  • Each niche can be re-run once a month, by anyone. After a re-run, the row shows "Re-run this month" with the section and the date.
  • If the new version is not better, the current section stays, and the niche's re-run for the month is used. An included re-run is given back. A paid one keeps only the credits that cover AI work already paid for, and returns the rest.
  • If a re-run cannot finish, the section stays as it is, and you can try again later.
  • If the new version adds a web link the report did not have, it is refused. Nothing is charged, and the niche can be re-run again next month.
  • If the new version repeats a phrase from a review that looks like a web address, it is set aside. Nothing is charged, and you can try again.
  • If a better version has text that reads like a web address, the team gives it a quick review before it can replace the section. The niche's re-run for the month is used while it waits.
  • While a new version of the whole report is being reviewed, re-runs open again only once it is published or set aside.
  • After each re-run, a message says what happened and what, if anything, was charged.
